June Report Lake Ontario Rochester, NY
ByJune has been a very interesting month. It started a little slow with the silver bite, but the Lake Trout action was great. Then we transitioned to unbelievable action with Atlantic Salmon and Domestic Rainbows. This past weekend the King Salmon and Steelhead Trout appeared. The fish are incredibly beautiful and big this year as our forage base seems to be bountiful with both Smelt and Alewife’s.

Hi Do you happen to know of some better places to find some bassin the area here or in the vicinity,lots of my buddies have been snagging some in medium size fishing ponds but I am looking for some flowing streams which have more active fish,we would like to find a few more places,Ill be checking back. thanks
