March 15, 2022 Monroe County Fishing Report

We are expecting some good brown trout fishing along the shoreline of Lake Ontario from Rochester to Sandy creek in Monroe County, now that most of the ice is gone. Try trolling with planner boards in 10 to 20 foot of water using stick baits and spoons. Fishing for browns from piers is also a very good place to fish. Fish for browns at Charlotte pier and Summerville pier in Rochester, also Webster and Irondequoit piers. All piers sites have plenty of parking and easy access.

Tributary fishing: Brown trout and steelhead and being caught at Sandy Creek and Four mile creek.
